How do I set up a Fortis Mobile Money business account?

It’s really easy! Go to Google Play and download Fortis Mobile Money App. Then, follow the instructions to register your account.

What documents are required to complete my registration?
  • Your Bank Verification Number (BVN).
  • A utility or another bill dated no later than three months prior to merchant registration as proof of your address.
  • Copy of your national ID card, driver’s license, or international passport.
  • 1 passport photo.
  • 1 guarantor (with a copy of a valid id and passport photograph)
Can I proceed with registration if I do not have the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) or business name documents?

Yes, you can proceed to register as a fortis Mobile Money Agent/ merchant without this document. However, there would be limits to your volume of transactions until all documentation has been properly done and updated.

How do I get my Activation code / OTP?

What happens if my phone is missing or stolen ?

In the event that you lose your phone, please call our contact centre 08098888076 or send an email to [email protected] authorizing us to block your account as soon as possible.
Please note that Fortis Mobile Money is not responsible for any unauthorized transaction that occurs for a lost or stolen phone.

I can't login to my fortis account?
